The City of High Point offers home repair programs to income-eligible, High Point residents that are geared toward ensuring the continued livability and viability of High Point’s affordable housing units.
Emergency Repairs
With limited resources, the City focuses its efforts on rehabilitations that would be considered an "emergency." These are repairs that, if not addressed, would cause the occupant to have to leave the home (e.g., accessibility, electrical issues, etc.).
Emergency repairs typically include the following:
- Accessibility (e.g., handicap ramps)
- Collapsing floor systems
- Electrical
- Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC)
- Plumbing/Sewer
- Roofing
