Artifact Donations

The High Point Museum welcomes donations of items of local historical interest. If you have items related to the greater High Point community that you would like to donate to the Museum, please contact the Curator of Collections at 336-883-3185 or email. Please do not mail artifact donations to the Museum.

Please note that all items received by the Museum are considered for acquisition by the Collections Committee, which follows the High Point Historical Society's Collections Policy when making decisions regarding items to accept into the artifact collection. As part of this process, items may be retained by the Museum while being evaluated by the Collections Committee. On certain, rare occasions, the Museum will purchase items to add to the artifact collection. Purchases also are guided by the Collections Committee and the High Point Historical Society's Collections Policy.

Artifact Collection

The High Point Historical Society owns, maintains and is expanding the artifact collection of the High Point Museum. After nearly 50 years, the artifact collection numbers over 37,000 items. The High Point Historical Society provides support for exhibits, programs and events to showcase these artifacts.

Donations of items to the artifact collection are tax-deductible.
