[ARCHIVED] Daimler’s Thomas Built Buses adding 416 jobs over two years

March 9, 2016 -- The leading school bus manufacturer in North America continues to grow in High Point - adding 416 jobs over two years. In 2015, Thomas Built Buses added 216 jobs during the year, primarily at its 713 W. Fairfield Rd. operation. During 2016, the company will add another 200 jobs. Thomas Built Buses - founded in High Point in 1916 - is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America, which is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Daimler itself is based in Stuttgart, Germany.
