Dice, cards, play money, pizza, popcorn and fun - what do they all have in common? That's what await visitors to the High Point Museum Friday, February 17 from 5 pm to 7 pm. The Museum is hosting its first ever Family Game Night. This coincides with the Museum's mini exhibit on games which is only display until February 25.
This fun evening will be full of all sorts of games featuring classic card and board games along with scavenger hunts and Pokémon Go. Lots of activities for this event including High Point trivia, photo booth, music and prizes.
One of the highlights of the event will be playing "The Challenge High Point" game from the 1980s. It is a Monopoly style game where players buy and sale property to gain wealth. It features local businesses and attractions.
“This will be a fun evening for families to spend time together, learn a little High Point history, and maybe even make some new friends,” Edith Brady, Museum Director, said.
