HIGH POINT, NC (May 25, 2017) Beginning Sunday, June 4, the High Point Museum will begin its summer operating hours and be open on Sunday afternoons. The Museum will be open from 1 pm to 4:30 pm and the Historical Park will be open 1 pm to 4 pm on Sundays during June, July and August. Admission is free.
Throughout the summer, the Museum has various activities and events planned including Civil War Reenactors (Saturday, June 24), Art Splash (Sunday, July 23) and National Night Out (Tuesday, August 1). The "When Racing Was Racing" exhibit will be open all summer and several programs are being planned. As usual the Historical Park will be conducting demonstrations and giving tours.
Summer is the perfect time to book a tour for your group. Tours are available Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 3 pm and can be scheduled online at www.highpointmuseu.org.
