[ARCHIVED] Paws to Read at the High Point Public Library

paws to read

You can call (336-883-3666) or stop by to register your child for a 20 minute reading session.

We will hold the sessions in the library storyroom. Please arrive on time or a little early. We will have books your child can choose from or you can bring your own favorites. During the session, the child will be introduced to the dog and the dog owner will answer any questions the child might have. The intent of these sessions is to give the young reader one-on-one reading time with the dog. It works best if brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles wait outside the storyroom until the session is over. We will allow pictures to be taken after the session is completed.

Your reader will receive an incentive reward for each 20 minute reading session (sticker, bookmark, etc.).
