HIGH POINT CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the High Point City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, High Point Municipal Building, 211 S. Hamilton Street for the following purposes:
1. Public Hearing- Economic Incentives for “Project Sweet”
Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. is the date and time established to receive public comments on a funding request from a company considering a location at 2545 and 2565 Penny Road. The High Point City Council will consider authorizing up to $1,171,000 in performance-based incentives for the company.
2. Consideration of an Amendment to an MOU with High Point University (Approved by City Council on 9/18/2017)
