High Point, NC - High Point Economic Development Corporation (High Point EDC) announces Coldwell Banker Advantage (CBA) as the newest company to locate its offices downtown. CBA will relocate its current office from 2212 Eastchester Dr. to The Bedrock building in The Outfields at 275 N. Elm St.

This announcement follows the July 18 public hearing, during which High Point EDC staff recommended incentives for the company under the Targeted Downtown and Building Upfit policies. The request was unanimously authorized by High Point City Council.

The project brings 38 sales and management positions downtown with plans to add 21 new sales positions over three years - a projected growth of 15% per year. CBA expects to occupy its new space beginning in January 2023.

“We are incredibly excited to be a part of downtown High Point. Our new location provides us
a perfect alignment for our continued growth, agent development and greater
service to the community on their path to homeownership,” said Kevin Jay, CBA Triad President.

The company plans to lease up to 6,190-sf at The Bedrock consisting of classroom space on the first floor along with offices and conference room space on the second floor. The initial lease is for five years with options to renew.

Coldwell Banker Advantage is the fourth company to locate in the city's downtown municipal service district (MSD) under the Targeted Downtown incentives policy, which can provide rent assistance for four years. The first three companies within this program are Key Risk, who located to the second and third floors of The Bedrock; RUD Fleet, who located to 209 N. Main St.; and Nomad Wine Works, who plans to open later this year at 432 N. Wrenn St.

“We are excited to welcome Coldwell Banker Advantage to the downtown and look forward to seeing their space activated for clients and the community,” said High Point EDC director Sandy Dunbeck.
