[ARCHIVED] Museum to Host Pokemon Saturday

The High Point Museum will be hosting Pokemon Saturday on August 27 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The Historical Park includes two Pokestops and two Pokegyms.

Museum staff will be dropping lures throughout the day. Other activities include Pokemon games, Pokemon contests, and Pokegym battles. Visitors can dress as their favorite Pokemon. Pokemon sightings have included: Dragonair, Ekans, Exeggcute, Gastly, Magikarp, Oddish, Pidgey, Pikachu, Psyduck, Raticate, Rattata, Staryu, Tangela and Weedle both inside the Museum as well as in our Historical Park

Refreshments including popcorn, lemonade and freeze pops will be available. As always admission is free and the Museum also has free Wi-fi. All three of the historical buildings will be open and the blacksmith will be conducting demonstrations throughout the day.
