At the Old Ball Game

August is Family Fun Month

August is National Family Month and a time that High Pointers are enjoying time together - going on vacation, playing games, having picnics and watching movies.

We've curated a variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy on our website - puzzles, coloring sheets and crafts and genealogy for kids.

Another activity missing from summer is - baseball. Last year in conjunction with the opening season of the High Point Rockers, the Museum produced an exhibit "At the Old Ball Game." Watch this clip for a brief overview of it. Also on our website, a virtual exhibit Play Ball! and a blog about High Point's Industrial League and check the blog August 19 for another baseball entry.

Dine at the Ballpark

Pitchin' Kitchen is open weekly Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy ballpark favorites at your favorite ballpark! Our outdoor seating also will give you a great view of the field.
