Office Hours

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Office is closed on City of High Point observed Holidays.

Due to meetings and events at other facilities, some staff members may be out of their office during regular business hours. We recommend you call 336.883.3469 before visiting or if you need additional information.

Field Rental Requests

The High Point Parks & Recreation Department has a variety of athletic fields available for rentals when not in use for programming.

To rent an athletic field, please click here to fill out a request form. This will be emailed to the Athletic Administrator and you will receive an answer to your request within 48 business hours. Request for game fields need to be received 7 days prior to the rental date. Practice fields can be reserved the day of depending on availability.

Adult Sports

We strongly believe our programs are ways for adults to maintain active lifestyles. The City of High Point Parks & Recreation Department sponsors team sporting leagues for:

Spring and Fall Softball (Men's and Coed)
Spring and Summer 30+ Basketball (Men's)
Average Joe Kickball (Coed)
Average Joe Wiffleball (Coed)
Soccer (Coed)

The department will accept team registration for complete team entries only. Teams will pay a team registration fee that will cover the department's cost to include the team into the league. The fee does not include the cost of any player equipment or uniforms.

Youth Sports

Our youth athletic programs are focused on the total development of the child. We do not place emphasis on winning. Our mission at High Point Parks and Recreation is to provide a positive sports experience for children and their parents.

We offer co-ed leagues for:

3 v 3 Teen Hoops Tournament (ages 13-18)
Tackle Football with pre-season camp (ages 7-12)
Cheerleading (ages 7-12) and Pep Squad (ages 5-6)
Basketball (ages 7-14)
Little Sluggers Baseball (ages 4-6)
Little Kickers Soccer (ages 4-6)
Summer Basketball Clinic (ages 9-16)

Aderholdt Track Closings

The Aderholdt Track at the High Point Athletic Complex located at 2920 School Park Road is closed to walkers on certain dates and times due to sporting events. The schedule is subject to change without notice due to weather conditions and rescheduling of events.
