How often are statements mailed out?
Loan statements are mail on the 20th of each month. If the 20th falls on a weekend, statements are mailed out on the next business day.

When is my payment due?
Payments are due on the first of the month.
3.
What if I can't pay on the 1st of the month?
There is a 15-day grace period. After the 15th of the month there is a late charge of 10% (not to exceed $10).
4.
If I want to pay in person, where do I go?
Loan payments are made at the Collections Department located on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 211 South Hamilton Street. Payments can be received Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

May I make any payments by credit card or by phone?
For all credit card payments, please contact Sandy in Customer Service at 336-883-3212.

Where do I mail my payment?
Payments should be mailed to:
City of High Point
Collections Department
P.O. Box 230
High Point, NC 27261.
Please include the bottom portion of the statement that includes your account ID number and amount paid.

What if I see a discrepancy on my statement?
Contact Community Development and Housing Department at 336-883-3349.

What should I do if I am having difficulty making my loan payment?
If you are experiencing difficulty making your loan payments, please communicate your concerns with Community Development and Housing Department at 336-338-3349.
9.
How do I get my statement sent to my new address?
Please communicate all change of address information to Community Development and Housing Department at 336-883-3349.
10.
How do I obtain payoff information if I want to pay off my loan?
Please contact the Community Development and Housing Department for a payoff statement. The phone number is 336-883-3349.
11.
Can my attorney get my payoff information?
Loan information is kept confidential. If your attorney requires payoff information, they must provide our office with a release of information signed by you.
12.
What do I do when it is time for me to make my final payment?
Please contact Community Development and Housing Department before making your final payment to ensure you receive the correct payoff amount.
13.
When is the lien released?
Once the final payment has been made, the loan will be marked "Paid and Fully Satisfied" and sent to the Register of Deeds office to be cancelled. Once the Register of Deeds returns the cancelled Deed of Trust, the original cancelled Deed of Trust will be forwarded to the customer.
14.
Can I begin paying my loan back before my affordability period has ended?
Yes, please contact Community Development and Housing Department and request a statement to be generated.
