Accepted in Curbside Carts and/or at Collection Locations

• Plastic bottles, jars, tubs and jugs - Lids on and Plastic Berry Containers
• Cardboard corrugated boxes flattened (including pizza boxes (no food)
• Glass bottles and jars (no corks)
• Mixed Paper: newspaper, office paper, cereal/food boxes, magazines, paperback books, junk mail, beverage cartons (Nothing smaller than a post-it note)
• Metal Cans - aluminum beverage cans, pet food cans, food (fruit, veggie, and meat) cans

There is no fee for bringing recycling to our facility.

North Carolina banned all televisions and computer equipment from landfills. This includes: laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, fax machines, mice/keyboards, and TVs. The City does not accept these items in recycling or garbage carts.

To dispose or recycle these items, do not place these items in your recycling cart for pick up. They must be taken to:
